Beyond emergencies: Community involvement

Behind the Scenes & Fundraising

At Drummond Island Fire & Rescue, serving the community goes far beyond emergency response. Our department trains together regularly to stay prepared, completing ongoing monthly drills and all required State of Michigan certifications and training standards to ensure we can provide the highest level of service when emergencies happen.
We are also deeply involved in supporting the island community through fire prevention and safety education, local outreach, and community involvement.

Through our nonprofit efforts and fundraising initiatives, we work hard to maintain, improve, and replace vital emergency equipment and supplies so we can continue protecting the residents and visitors of Drummond Island for years to come.
